This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Microsoft Intune Engineer to join the Windows Platform & Solutions Engineering team within Employee Technology Experience. This team is responsible for the enterprise platforms used to manage Windows devices across the bank, including modern device management, application deployment, software distribution, operating system lifecycle management, automation, and endpoint modernization.

This person will serve as a senior technical expert for Microsoft Intune and cloud-first Windows device management. They will lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of modern endpoint management capabilities while partnering with engineering, operations, architecture, and other technology teams. The successful candidate will bring deep, hands-on Intune experience and the ability to independently lead complex initiatives from technical design through implementation and operational adoption.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engineer, administer, and enhance Microsoft Intune in a large enterprise environment
  • Lead Intune implementation, migration, and endpoint modernization initiatives
  • Design and implement cloud-first Windows device management solutions
  • Develop and manage device configuration, compliance, application, and update policies
  • Support Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning capabilities
  • Integrate Intune with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and related Microsoft technologies
  • Support the transition from Microsoft Configuration Manager to modern cloud-based endpoint management
  • Troubleshoot complex device enrollment, policy, application deployment, software update, and endpoint-management issues
  • Develop PowerShell automation and remediation solutions that improve efficiency and platform reliability
  • Provide senior engineering guidance and best-practice recommendations for Windows endpoint management
  • Partner with operations teams to implement and operationalize new platform capabilities
  • Participate in enterprise endpoint-management projects, platform upgrades, and technology implementations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, and solution designs
  • Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for Microsoft Intune and modern Windows management
Must Have Skills:
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune experience
  • Deep experience engineering and administering Intune in an enterprise environment
  • Experience leading Intune implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives
  • Windows Autopatch/Windows Update for Business
  • Strong cloud-first Windows device management experience
  • Experience designing and implementing device configuration, compliance, application, and update policies
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning
  • Experience integrating Intune with Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access
  • Experience supporting large-scale, complex Windows endpoint environments
  • Strong Windows operating system and endpoint-management troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives from design through implementation
  • Experience partnering across engineering, architecture, operations, and support teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and influence stakeholders

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
