Payroll Specialist
Pay: $34.00 - $40.00/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Hours: Full-time

Position Summary-
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all aspects of payroll and any subsidiaries including G2 Consultants, Archers Asbestos Abatement, and any future entities. This includes calculating wages, preparing and distributing payroll checks, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
This position is also responsible for managing the benefits administration process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while providing excellent service to employees. In order for the candidate to the successful in this, they must have extreme attention to detail and the ability to be discreet and confidential with employee/company information. This position requires strong attention to details and strong communication skills.

Essential Job Duties-
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time via third party company and possibly in house in the future.
  • Process weekly prevailing wage payroll and recertified payroll reports via third party company.
  • Collect, verify, and input employee timesheets, attendance, and other payroll data.
  • Set up new payroll accounts for new companies and divisions.
  • Oversee timecard management to ensure accuracy and timely approvals.
  • Respond promptly to employee payroll and benefits inquiries, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Process wage garnishments.
  • Process employee reimbursements and Bend location rent payment.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with Finance/HR teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of direct deposit details and other sensitive information.
  • Support audits and reporting for payroll and benefits processes.
  • Confirm working days for salary employees.
  • Process calculations of payroll deductions for benefits.
  • Process tax report for pay periods.
  • Audit QuickBooks Time daily clock in for all employees including location when different rates are selected.
  • Stay up to date on labor laws and regulations to ensure payroll practices align with legal
Requirements-
  • Must have 2+ years in payroll
  • Must have experience using Quickbooks: Payroll Intuit.
