Job description

As an Enterprise Account Executive in Intuit's Accountant segment, you own the full sales cycle with the largest accounting firms in the country with complex multi-partner workflows. You carry quota-bearing responsibility for net new revenue for Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) and Intuit AI Tools, and you are accountable for moving deals from first conversation to signed agreement to active deployment. You operate as the IAS and AI specialist within Intuit's enterprise model. Firm Engagement Managers own the overall firm relationship; your lane is product depth, demo excellence, and driving the Forward Deploy motion to close.

This is an enterprise sales motion which means you will have multiple stakeholders including CEOs, CTOs, transformation leaders, managing partners, IT leads, operations directors, and domain experts and your success depends on your ability to navigate those organizations, build multi-threaded relationships, and close. You will run tailored product demonstrations, lead the pre-engagement qualification process for Intuit's Forward Deploy co-build model, and quarterback a complex post-sale motion that puts Intuit's product and implementation teams inside the firm building AI-powered workflows.

You are the tip of the spear on Intuit's enterprise push into the accounting and tax professional market. This segment represents one of Intuit's highest-priority growth opportunities, and this role is central to capturing it.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Pipeline & Territory Management
  • Own and develop a named account territory of enterprise-tier accounting and tax firms, building a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, industry events, and partner introductions.

  • Maintain a pipeline sufficient to achieve and exceed individual quota at all times; own CRM hygiene with rigor and accuracy across every account and stage.

  • Segment and prioritize your territory by firm size, technology maturity, staffing model, and strategic alignment with IAS and Intuit AI while always working the highest-leverage targets first.

  • Track buying signals across your territory - firm growth, software renewals, partner turnover, AI readiness - and engage at the right moment.

  • Report pipeline health and deal progress through Sales Interlock and updates flow directly to Intuit's SLT and CEO. Your number is visible at the top of the house.

Complex Deal Execution
  • Lead the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery, needs assessment, solution design, demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and close on deals that routinely span multiple stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, Marketing, Product, Channel, and SLT, to align internal resources and accelerate deal execution inside complex, multi-party opportunities.

  • Run high-quality, workflow-first demonstrations of IAS and AI workflows tailored to each firm's service lines, staff structure, and current technology stack. This is a consultative motion, not a feature walkthrough.

  • Build and manage multi-threaded relationships within each account: managing partners for vision alignment, IT and operations leads for technical validation, and domain experts for workflow buy-in.

  • Quarterback each deal through Intuit's internal qualification, contracting, and onboarding processes ensuring a seamless handoff from close to activation with zero gaps.

IAS & Intuit AI Tool Adoption
  • Drive post-close activation of IAS and Intuit AI tools within each enterprise account tracking usage, surfacing adoption risks, and engaging firm leadership when adoption stalls.

  • Identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts: new service lines, additional seats, deeper AI deployments, and ProTax attach to existing IAS relationships.

  • Build relationships and partnerships that outlast the initial transaction.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in SaaS, financial technology, or professional services software with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Demonstrated success closing large deals: you understand how to build value, manage a sales cycle, and close against multiple competing priorities inside the buyer's organization.

  • Experience running consultative product demonstrations for professional services buyers. You tailor the demo to the buyer's workflow, not to your product's feature list.

  • Strong deal management and forecasting discipline: you build the pipeline deliberately, maintain accurate CRM data, and forecast with confidence, not optimism.

  • Executive presence and communication skills: able to engage credibly with managing partners, firm CTOs, and C-suite stakeholders at the largest professional services firms.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales productivity platforms.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to gain cross-functional alignment within Intuit and the Accounting firm

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling to accounting firms, CPA firms, or tax professionals. You understand firm structure, partnership dynamics, decision-making timelines, and what ROI means to a managing partner.

  • Prior experience selling or positioning AI-powered workflow automation tools and the ability to translate agentic AI capability into firm-level productivity and revenue impact.

  • Understanding of the accounting firm technology market and competitive landscape and how enterprise firms evaluate ERP and technology decisions.

  • Experience managing or participating in a co-build, Forward Deploy, or professional services engagement model alongside a technical delivery team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
