Job description

  • Promote safety in the workplace and work to all safe practices
  • Drive and perform daily checks on forklift
  • Provide daily inventories as required
  • Load and unload trucks per dock windows
  • Review material for any damage while unloading
  • Scan labels and verify accuracy
  • Store and retrieve finished goods, or purchased parts per FIFO process
  • Store material in assigned storage locations, and ensure proper stack heights are followed, and bins are properly nested
  • Enter data into Plex as required
  • Consolidate and organize material
  • Verify Bills of Lading vs. requirements
  • Assist fellow team members
  • Embrace and promote adherence to standardized work methods
  • Keep work area clean at all times, and adhere to 5S standards
  • Assist with disposing of cardboard, and trash into compactors
  • Load wooden, and plastic skids as required
