Job Description
Title: IR Tech - Interventional Radiology
Schedule:
- Days, 10 hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Monday to Friday
- Day off will rotate
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
- ARRT Radiography license required
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts certification (can apply once offered)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Scrub experience required
- Preferred: 3 years of experience, large hospital experience; peripheral and neurovascular experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Document procedural details accurately.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation required every Monday and Tuesday; nursing orientation on Wednesday to Friday (bi-weekly).
- Nicotine-free facility.
- 8-hour no-bill orientation.
- Bi-weekly pay.
