Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced IR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring active CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent acute care IR experience.

Details
  • work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 272-bed hospital with 2 IR suites
  • day shift rotating between 7:00 AM-4:30 PM and 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • unit staffed with 4 IR techs and 6 RNs, with 4-5 RNs on day shift
  • night shift coverage is on-call only
  • performs basic IR procedures including drains, neuro cases, sirspheres, tumor ablation, and spine jack procedures
  • uses GE imaging equipment
  • charts in Meditech EMR
  • on-call required for weekdays including overnights and weekends, averaging 8-12 shifts per month
  • must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call
Requirements
  • , ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • active RN license, Colorado or compact, required
  • minimum 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience required
  • vent and drip management experience required
  • neuro, ER, or ICU experience preferred
  • thrombectomy center experience preferred
  • no employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
