Monday through Friday 8-4pm, split 50/50 in person at MMP office and virtually.

Atrium Health Gastroenterology & Hepatology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing Interventional Endoscopy team in the Charlotte metro area.

Growing Regional Program

• Join a highly respected, expanding Gastroenterology group serving a diverse patient population across the Charlotte region.

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• One half-day of protected administrative time weekly

• Approximately 2.5 days/week of virtual clinic
• Approximately 2 days/week of in-person clinic at Morehead Medical Plaza
• Average patient volume: 12-14 patients per day

• Evaluate and manage Interventional Endoscopy referrals
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing:
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • Advanced and complex endoscopic procedures
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Collaborate closely with physicians and APP colleagues in outpatient care

You'll join one of the largest GI programs in the region, featuring:

• 27 Gastroenterologists
• 27 Advanced Practice Providers
• Direct collaboration with:
  • 4 Interventional Gastroenterologists
  • 1 APP partner
• Morehead Medical Plaza office team consisting of:
  • 8 Physicians
  • 3 APPs

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach

• Passion for learning advanced Interventional Endoscopy
