Job description

As a part of our growth, PGW Auto Glass, a leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years' experience, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Over the Road Driver. PGW has over 100 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. The driver must have a current Class A CDL license and an excellent driving record. The driver will be responsible for operating a semi-truck and tractor trailer to distribute product to regional PGW locations and customers. PGW offers competitive pay, matching 401K, medical, vision, dental, and PTO.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Must possess a current valid Class A CDL license with a minimum working history of 3 years continuous CDL driving
  • Must be able to complete and pass FMCSA driver qualification file requirements within 30 days of hire.
  • Drive semi-truck and tractor trailer to deliver glass and supplies to locations, including out-of-town deliveries
  • Home daily except one overnight run per week and off weekends
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally
  • Unload full cases off tractor trailer
  • Load empty cases onto tractor trailer
  • Deliver paperwork to and from locations
  • Deliver returns, recalls, locates, and transfer parts to Distribution Center
  • Deliver to customers as required
  • Pick up various products and/or supplies from vendors, as needed
  • Responsible for tracking and scheduling maintenance of tractor trailer
  • Perform other additional duties as needed to support primary duty of operating semi-truck and tractor trailer in a safe manner on public roadways including highways in interstate commerce
