Job description

Job Description Overview This role involves supporting the planning, design, drafting, and construction management of public infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, drainage, and roads, as well as commercial and limited residential land development. The position works closely with senior engineers to gain experience in technical standards, permitting, and construction coordination, while also preparing technical reports, cost estimates, and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Responsibilities include attending site visits and client meetings with project leads, participating in regulatory compliance and permitting research, and engaging in public coordination.

Additionally, the role provides opportunities to learn how to manage project scopes with varying budgets and timelines. Education B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field (required) Certifications/Licenses Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) Certification or in process Must-Have Skills 0-3 years of civil engineering experience (internships/co-ops count!)
