Job description

seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist to join a "AMAZING" team of surgeons, as described by our current staff.

Why commute to the Beltway when you can drive through historic battlegrounds to get home?

Nestled perfectly between the iconic skylines of Washington, D.C. and the historic harbors of Baltimore, MD, Martinsburg offers the "Coolest Small Town" vibe without sacrificing big-city access. Enjoy triple board certifications without the burnout.

THE PRACTICE:

Scope: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage the full spectrum of ENT—covering ears, nasal passages, throat, head, and neck conditions.

Workflow: Provide inpatient/outpatient consults, follow-ups, and emergency on-call services. Collaborate daily with primary care and surgical services.

Teaching: Educate and mentor the next generation of medical students, interns, and residents who rotate through our facility.

Compliance: Utilize the electronic health record (EHR) to document encounters while adhering to VHA patient safety and quality management standards.

THE PERKS (Federal Benefits):

Predictable Schedule: Ditch the RVU grind for structured clinical hours and assigned on-call duties.

Generous PTO: Earn 26 days of annual leave + 13 days sick leave + 11 Federal holidays (That’s 50 days off to use your ski pass!).

Mission: Zero malpractice insurance premiums (FTCA coverage) and access to the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS).

No State Income Tax: West Virginia respects your hard-earned salary.

THE LOCATION (The Lifestyle Sell):

Proximity: Washington, D.C. (Dulles/IAD) & Baltimore (BWI) are both ~90 minutes away. Eastern WV Regional Airport (MRB) is local for private/charter.

4-Season Playground: Ski the slopes at Wisp Resort or Timberline Mountain on a powder day.

Wildlife & History: Hike/bird-watch the 23,000-acre Sleep Creek Wildlife Management Area, then walk the hallowed grounds of Antietam or Harpers Ferry.

Culture: From the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival to the culinary复兴 of Berkeley Springs, the food and arts scene is exploding.

Requirements:

Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO) from an approved institution.

Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency.

Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.

Ready to serve those who served—without sacrificing your weekends?
