This is a paid internship opportunity for both Cybersecurity and Non-Cybersecurity Students

Our goal is to ultimately place interns on client and partner engagements to explore the various aspects of a cybersecurity program and cybersecurity practices, which will use knowledge and skills learned in class and through the internship program. Interns will have opportunities to learn:

  • Cloud Computing and the “Big 3” Cloud Service Providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Virtualization Concepts and VMWare Configuration
  • Creating Virtual Machines and Configuring VMs Using the Command Line
  • Networking and IP Addressing
  • Host-based and Cloud Firewalls
  • Vulnerability Scanning and Reporting, Remediating Vulnerabilities
  • Creating and Securing Virtual Machines in the Cloud
  • Advanced Cloud Architecture and Networking Concepts
  • National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework

  • Undergraduate and Graduate students; Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
