26-063 Junior Electrical/RF Engineer

Invariant Corporation is seeking a driven and motivated Junior Electrical/Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support our Redstone Arsenal team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a passion for RF systems and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This individual will assist in the design, testing, and integration of RF components and systems, and will be encouraged to take initiative and contribute innovative solutions.

Duties Include:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of RF circuits, antennas, and systems.
  • Support senior engineers in the integration and troubleshooting of RF hardware and software.
  • Perform laboratory measurements, data collection, and analysis of RF performance.
  • Document test procedures, results, and technical findings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project objectives and deliverables.
  • Participate in technical reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Take initiative in identifying and solving technical challenges.
  • Stay current with emerging RF technologies and industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 03 years of experience in RF engineering or a related discipline (internship/co-op experience acceptable).

Requires ability to:

  • Demonstrated drive, initiative, and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Basic understanding of RF principles, components, and test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a small, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise good judgment, and make rational decisions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Work Environment

Office and lab environment.

This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
