Responsibilities
  • Review, prepare, and dispense medications to ensure safe and accurate therapy.

  • Provide clinical pharmacy consultations to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Monitor patient responses and adjust medication regimens based on evidence-based guidelines.

  • Educate patients and families on medication use, safety, and adherence.

  • Support pharmacy residents, students, and interns through teaching and mentorship.

  • Contribute to hospital initiatives including quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical research.


Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.

  • Current Florida Pharmacist License (or eligibility for licensure).

  • PGY1 or PGY2 residency preferred; clinical experience in a hospital or health system strongly desired.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
