Responsibilities include troubleshooting and commissioning Rig control systems and integrated rig equipment on drilling rigs in the assigned geographic region.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute percentages. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of using Microsoft word and exel. Assist higher level tech with troubleshooting rig control systems. Assist higher level tech with commissioning rig control systems. Troubleshoot simple electrical issues on rig control systems. Commission generators Fix complex issues with generator controls Fix complex issues with VFD drives and controls Calibrate sensors via HMI Program all generator control components Fix issues with automated drilling functions Commission and troubleshoot revit Commission and troubleshoot rockit Extensive travel to customer locations (land and offshore). Providing 24 hour on-call technical support while on rotation. Customer relations and field sales of CANRIG products and services. Maintain company issued tools and be knowledgeable and skillful in the use of these tools. Compliance with safety standards, regulations, reporting and certifications. Complete required paperwork, documentation and billing accurately and timely. Utilization of time management. Compliance with Level III IRCS Competence Assessment Management System requirements and required entry level training.
