FRM Sales & Trading Analyst I

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As aFRM Sales & Trading Analyst I, you will play a key role in supporting client sales pursuits and trade execution, analyzing Foreign Exchange (FX), Commodities, and Interest Rate Derivative products, and delivering high-level support to both internal and external clients. You will collaborate closely with Front Office (FO) Sales and Trading teams and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive FRM's growth and innovation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Provide active support to FO Sales through collaboration with Relationship Managers, Capital Markets Bankers, Trading, Risk, Credit, Legal, and external stakeholders in structuring, underwriting, and ensuring compliance for FRM products.
  • Accurately and promptly execute client orders in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the creation of client-specific pitch books and sensitivity analyses under the guidance of FRM Sales and Management.
  • Develop marketing materials and market analyses, including visualizations of historical trends, forecasts, technical indicators, and pricing anomalies.
  • Maintain and streamline FRM Sales pipeline reports.
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets product teams, banking, and treasury management to identify cross-functional opportunities across the Wholesale Bank.
  • Partner with the FRM Product Owners to enhance client experience, trading volumes, and revenue generation; serve as a subject matter expert for e-trading platforms.
  • Support the go-to-market strategy related to new initiatives and services.
  • A process improvement focus using emerging technologies, business analytics and a problem-solving lens
  • Build internal and external networks to stay informed on market dynamics and strengthen client relationships

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preferred fields include Finance, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Applicable internship or work experience in financial services and/or client facing roles
  • Foundational knowledge of FX, Commodities, and Interest Rate Derivatives markets.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to support client relationship coverage.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and respond quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse teams and clients.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and adaptable in problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with electronic markets is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will bring emerging professional proficiency, generally acquired through 0-2 years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future

  • Graduating Class of 2027

  • GPA 3.3 or higher

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets a plus.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79,63 license ( to be obtained immediately after start date).

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

  • Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
