Interns typically work alongside professionals to learn about the workflow and daily operations of television studios, networks, or production companies. These opportunities can help interns build practical skills, expand their professional network, and improve their chances of landing a full-time job in the industry after graduation.

Common tasks include assisting with script preparation, helping with research, logging footage, supporting the crew on set, and participating in meetings with producers and writers. Depending on the company and department, you might also help with social media, basic editing, or administrative work. This exposure allows you to develop a well-rounded understanding of how a television production operates and to build connections within the industry.
