Job description

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots.  We are currently seeking a University Recruiting Manager to join our team at the company headquarters in Bells, TN. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing strategic relationships with colleges and universities to build a talent pipeline for internships and full-time positions. This role serves as an employment brand ambassador, representing the company on campuses and collaborating with academic departments, career services, and student organizations to enhance the company's profile as a top employer.

Responsibilities
  • Campus recruiting strategy: Develop and implement effective campus recruiting strategies to attract and engage high-potential students and recent graduates.
  • Partnership development: Identify, build, and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with career services, faculty, and student groups at target universities.
  • Event management: Plan and execute campus recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and tech talks.
  • Candidate engagement: Source, screen, and track candidates for intern and entry-level positions, providing a positive and seamless candidate experience.
  • Internship program management: Oversee the company's internship program, from onboarding and project assignment to mentor matching and performance evaluation.
  • Employment Brand promotion: Create compelling marketing materials and manage university relations-focused social media campaigns to elevate the company's employment brand on campus.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Track recruiting metrics, analyze hiring results, and report on the effectiveness of campus initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Internal collaboration: Partner with hiring managers, talent acquisition teams, and business leaders to align university outreach with current and future hiring needs.
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by the V.P., Human Resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in developing business associations with universities, campus recruiting, or a related partnership development role.
  • Strong initiative along with organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with recruiting technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, and campus recruiting platforms like Handshake or Yello.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
