Job description

We are expanding our services to Pueblo, CO!
Here's the deal: We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic, customer-focused, go-getter to join our team. You'll be responsible for a wide range of duties related to installing new equipment, troubleshooting existing systems and ensuring all work is completed to ALLO standards in both business and residential settings. This customer facing position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Colorado residents: typical pay for this role is $21-$24 per hour depending on qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install internet, TV, and phone service for business and residential customers.
  • Troubleshoot and work through problems in a logical manner.
  • Wire fishing and pulling.
  • Prepare various types of cables and field polish connectors.
  • Have a working knowledge of telecommunications color code, SIP/PRI, and Hosted IP PBX communications.
  • Safe handling of all products and maintaining company issued equipment/tools.
  • Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
  • Clean and neat appearance.
  • A clean driving record and be able to pass random drug screenings.
  • Prompt attendance to work and scheduled job sites.

EDUCATION:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates or 1 year of equivalent work experience


EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of telecommunications experience.
  • A networking background is a plus, but not required.


SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Being a team player.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of basic network routing protocols.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with power tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft OS
  • Ability to travel outside of home market for extended periods of time based on project and business needs.
  • On-call rotations once trained to a competent level.
  • Ability to be flexible on scheduled tasks.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
