A leading consumer products company seeks a Supply Chain Project Manager to provide end-to-end supply chain leadership within a Strategic Business Unit (SBU), driving the successful execution of product change initiatives and ensuring alignment between supply chain capabilities and business objectives. This role serves as the primary supply chain representative across cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, promotions, and strategic initiatives from concept through launch.
Supply Chain Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain execution for product change initiatives by developing implementation strategies that support project objectives related to start of ship, production readiness, volume requirements, total delivered cost, and supply risk mitigation.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain representative within cross-functional project teams, facilitating communication and coordination across supply chain functions, business units, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and speed to market.
  • Drive supply chain implementation activities for new products, promotions, and product changes by supporting feasibility assessments, technical transfers, production start-up, and execution of best-in-class supply chain processes.
  • Manage project governance activities, including functional reviews, stakeholder communications, resource alignment, and synchronization of priorities across supply chain integration teams and constrained resources.
  • Identify and recommend supply chain improvement and cost-saving opportunities while designing and implementing best-practice processes that enhance operational efficiency and project execution effectiveness.
  • Build strong partnerships across supply chain sub-functions and business teams, providing leadership, fostering collaboration, and promoting effective team dynamics to achieve business priorities and project objectives.

Supply Chain Project Manager Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain roles with demonstrated project management responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; an Engineering or related technical degree is preferred.
  • Experience with production and inventory control systems, operations planning, and ERP applications.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including new product introductions and supply execution strategies.
  • Excellent project leadership, analytical, decision-making, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in collaborative team environments.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Sales, R&D, or customer-facing functions is preferred.
