Job description

Apply a broad range of mechanical engineering and 3D design practice to assist various functional areas in meeting their strategic goals through continuous improvement activities. Provide project support and design ownership, within the manufacturing department and advise on design improvements.
This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for facility for a Spring/Summer 2027 Co-Op (January-August 2027) or a Summer/Fall 2027 Co-Op (May-December 2027). This typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Improve product quality, efficiency and the user experience through mechanical design of jigs, fixtures, tooling, mechanical systems and execution of equipment qualification
  • Real world experience of parametric modeling, additive manufacturing (3D Prototyping) and production level fabrication for a complete understanding of the engineering design process
  • Mentored, hands-on learning of the development cycle while using practical design methods and various engineering tools, to transform ideas into tangible, value-add solutions
  • Engineering analysis and design testing to ensure successful, design implementation
  • Support the product design and manufacturing process through novel design solutions that make a positive and lasting impact

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering or a relevant degree with a Design or Manufacturing Engineering emphasis
