JOB SUMMARY:

This role will assist with the creation and publishing of Discover Universal video content on YouTube, from brainstorming ideas and talking points to implementing best practices on our Discover Universal channels. They will also provide and collect feedback and analyze results. Intern will receive a comprehensive overview of what it means to be a content creator and a marketer for a major brand. They will develop as a professional, honing their organizational, strategic thinking, and marketing skills.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists team to manage and identify ways to optimize YouTube channels.
  • Research talking points for show episodes.
  • Assists with providing and collecting feedback on creative.
  • Partners with other Discover Universal Audio/Video team members to publish content.
  • Assists with project workflow.
  • Assesses and interpreting YouTube analytics.
  • Assists on set when needed.
  • Writes blog articles when needed.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. 
  • A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Preferred majors include: Marketing, Communications, Film/TV, Social Media, Public Relations, or similar.
  • Preferred coursework completed: Marketing, Communication, Writing, Production, Project Management, or similar.
  • Familiarity with YouTube and content creation.
Please note the following:
  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
