Job description

In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need:
  • You must have a current or active security clearance with a FS Poly.
  • Possess twenty (20)+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
  • ELEVI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Cybersecurity Infrastructure (CI) TTO which defends our nation's most critical unclassified and classified networks. This position is on the CI Integration team supporting an Identity Intelligence task. The candidate will collaborate with Mission and Operations elements to develop complex data extraction capabilities. The candidate will also expand existing AI tools to optimize code development and testing.
  • Required Skills:
    • Programming: Strong Java, Python developer skills
    • Parsing and extraction: Regex/pattern matching, data parsing, and transformation of structured and semi-structured data
    • Quality and troubleshooting: Debugging, root cause analysis, unit testing, and regression testing
    • Tooling and environment: Git, Maven, Linux/shell, VS Code
    • Codebase fluency: Ability to work effectively in large, mature codebases and contribute safely to existing systems
  • Desired Skills:
    • AI-assisted development / LLM tooling: familiarity with coding agents and AI-assisted workflows (eg, Claude Code, reusable skills, prompt-driven automation)

Some of the day-to-day activities:
  • Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
  • The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
  • The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.

$174,400 - $220,300
