Job Title:
Coaches Camera Operator
Pay Details:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
Summary of Position
This entry-level Hockey Operations position is responsible for filming all home games using the coach's camera and ensuring high-quality video capture for coaching purposes. The role assists the coaching staff with various operational needs, including the setup and breakdown of all audio/visual equipment required to record games into a digital format.
Responsibilities
  • Must be able to set up and break down a prosumer video camera and tripod.
  • Trouble shoot any technical issues that could occur.
  • Work with the coaching staff on particular angles they may need to better see the game on the ice.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar capacity, with complete knowledge of the rules of hockey.
  • 1-2 years of A/V experience preferred.
  • Experience playing or coaching hockey at the high school, college, or professional level.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform strenuous physical duties, including carrying heavy boxes and equipment.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, including for the duration of entire games.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be available to work all Gulls home games, including pre-season, regular season, and post-season.
