In this full-time, first-shift opportunity at a busy community hospital located in a beautiful Arizona city, you will play a vital role in generating transformative diagnostic outcomes. Collaborating with like-minded professionals, you will benefit from a total rewards package crafted to elevate both your career trajectory and overall wellbeing.
Description - What You'll Be Responsible For
- Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to standard protocols.
- Interpret test results with precision, resolve errors, and conduct both preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
- Document all processes meticulously, train new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
- Ensure a tidy, safe work environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Must maintain current certification throughout employment duration.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and resourcefulness in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational capability and keen attention to detail, especially in maintaining quality control and thorough documentation.
- Attractive competitive pay reflecting your experience and qualifications.
- Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- Generous time-off policy beginning on day one, including vacation and holiday allotments with credit for prior experience.
- Support for continuing education opportunities and professional development.
- A robust total rewards package emphasizing your holistic wellness.
The Impact of Your Work
Your meticulous efforts within the laboratory are the driving force behind critical decisions made in patient care. Every test you perform can confirm the necessity of antibiotics for an infection or reveal metabolic imbalances before clinical symptoms materialize. Your expertise guarantees the accuracy that healthcare teams rely on daily.

This role means becoming an integral member of a tight-knit community. You will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes continuous learning. Monthly in-lab meetings, refresher training sessions, and process improvement collaborations are part of the culture that values every voice. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, lead initiatives, and mentor newcomers.

The atmosphere here is welcoming, fostering bonds that elevate both the healthcare community and the larger populace.

Your commuting experience will be streamlined, ensuring you spend less time on the road and more time enjoying life.
