Description - Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a mix of standard and sophisticated clinical lab tests such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to stringent operational protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure that laboratory equipment undergoes consistent maintenance and calibration.
• Support specimen collection and sample preparation as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Meticulously track all procedures, assist in onboarding new staff or interns, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while following all relevant regulations and accreditation specifications.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health discipline plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Commitment to maintaining current certification for the duration of your role.
