The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the processing facility, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and instruments. Position Details:

- 12-hour rotating shifts: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. Overtime, call-out availability, weekends/holidays, and an on-call rotation are required.
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $31.00 an hour

What You'll Be Doing:
- Preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement of plant equipment
- Operation of various hand tools and power tools
- Using measurement devices, including calipers, pi tapes, and micrometers
- Welding and cutting using a torch: tig, mig, stick-on piping and structural
- Rigging and using cables and slings
- Sheet metal layouts
- Assembly and installation of bearings on shafts
- Alignment of coupling between two inputs
- Parts lubrication and other maintenance tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Millwright/Mechanic experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a highly quality controlled environment
- Ability to work in a safety conscious environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree and/or technical certification
- Welding and cutting using a torch
