We'rehiring an Intermediate Software Engineer for our POS Modernization team. In this role, you will work on a highly complex, fast-paced, cross-platform effort with varying technology solutions (infrastructure, software, middleware, etc.).As a vital team member, you will contribute to building scalable, robust, and secure solutions that will enhance the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications. You will work closely with the project team to ensure requirements are understood and turned into functional code that is peer-reviewed, tested, and deployed to our production environment.
Location: Flexible Hybrid (Lakeland, FL)
To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your Impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications.
  • Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance the system.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies that may be applied to the cloud platform supporting Point-of-Sale applications.
