Job description

The Software Engineer (RPA) designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. 


Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. 


Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline completed within 12 months prior to hire and 1+ year of related experience obtained through any combination of coursework and internships. 

  • Software development experience using HTML and JavaScript. Working knowledge of Python or Java. 

  • Experience with distributed version control software such as Git and Bitbucket. 

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of Software Engineering. 

  • DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim Secret clearance prior to start date 

  • Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 60 days of start date 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop robotic process automation (RPA) bots using Automation Anywhere and UiPath. 

  • Design, develop, document, test and deploy software written in Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL.
