Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

WearelookingforData EngineeringDeveloperinternsforourgrowingteam!

Whatyou'lldo here:

Withyourteam,youwillparticipatein thedevelopmentanddeliveryof efficient,effectiveandsecuredata flows. Youwill:

  • Build, optimise andmaintaindata ELT/ETL pipeline toingestdataintoIntact'senterprise data platform leveraging Python andDatabricks.

  • ContributetoIntact'sbest practice todepersonalizedatasets.

  • Work on data modeling and buildingreportingcapabilities.

  • Work oncertifyingthe data as atrustedasset by building datareconciliationpipeline.

  • Participatein thedevelopmentof dataqualitycontrols.

  • Learnthe best practiceswiththe use ofcutting-edgetechnologiessuchas AWS,Databricks, andSnowflake.

  • Join a team of cross-functional members, collaborating closely with developers,devops, data scientists, and end users.

What you bring to the table:

  • CurrentlypursuingaBachelor'sorMaster'sinartificialintelligence, data science, computer science, computer engineering,mathematics,statisticsoranyrelatedfield.

  • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for theWinter 2027Term (JanuarytoApril).

  • Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school innextSummer or Fall2027following your internship.

  • For candidateslocatedinQuebec,bilingualismisrequiredconsideringthenecessitytointeracton aregularbasiswithEnglishspeakingcolleaguesacrossthe country.

  • No Canadianworkexperiencerequired,butmustbeeligibletoworkin Canada.

  • Astrongenthusiasmfor data engineering and cloud technologies, and asolidunderstandingof data, Big Data challenges,databasesystems, machinelearning, andartificialintelligence.

  • Proficiencyin Python and SQLisrequired.

  • KnowledgeofPySparkand AWSisan asset.
