Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
  • Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
  • Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
  • Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright‑Typescript, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO).
  • Leverage AI and MCP‑based tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI assistants) to accelerate automation development, debugging, and test optimization.
  • Implement and maintain in‑sprint automation, working directly with developers and product teams to automate test cases within the same sprint.
  • Develop API automation for microservices, REST APIs and event‑driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
  • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; implement quality gates and automated smoke/regression tests.
  • Test the full end‑to‑end behavior of AWS components to ensure all events, triggers, data flows, and integrations work as expected.
  • Apply modern automation practices such as contract testing, component testing, visual diff testing, and accessibility scans.
  • Participate in story grooming and design reviews to ensure testability and shift‑left quality.
  • Produce clear test documentation, automation architecture diagrams, dashboards, and reports.
  • Must have experience in Agile and DevOps methodology.
Preferred Skill and Experience
  • Experience in test execution & reporting, testing lifecycle processes and test tools like Rally, JIRA, IBM Rational suite etc.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Client interfacing skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Understanding of one or more estimation methodologies, knowledge of quality processes.
Additional Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
