Job Description

We are seeking a hands on mechanically inclined individual capable of performing a variety of duties using established methods and procedures, sequences and set-ups in test. Areas of work will include Aircraft wheel and brake assembly and test for commercial and military programs. The work will range from building, testing and documenting to cleaning the work area. This is a dirty environment.ย 
Responsibility & Duties include:ย 
- Must perform recurring work independentlyย 
- Must be able to troubleshoot routine problems including mechanical, electrical and processesย 
- Must be able to read and use micrometers, torque wrenches and other inspection equipmentย 
- Must be knowledgeable and comfortable using computers and Microsoft Officeย 
- Must be available and willing to work any of 3 shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd) as requiredย 
- Must be available for overtime when necessaryย 
- Work will be reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with instructionsย 
- Must be quality grounded and self-directedย 
- Requires effective and timely service to meet daily requirementsย 
- Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsย 
- Will performs a variety of tasks while working under general supervision - typically reporting to a supervisor or managerย 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:ย 
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent minimumย 
- Mechanical aptitude is essentialย 
- Must be a U.S. Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residentย 
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and complex written proceduresย 
- Must be acquainted with and able to use Microsoft Office and possess general PC knowledgeย 
-Additional Qualifications:ย 
- 1 year or more of engineering test lab experience is a plusย 
- Previous automotive, aircraft or equipment maintenance experience is a plusย 
- Secondary education a plus but not requiredย
