Job description

Experience - 5 to 10 years

Location - Tampa FL and Dallas, TX

Employment - W2

Prepare, maintain, and implement test cases based on user stories; present results and supervise defects to closure.

o Develop and maintain Java-based automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing.

o Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices in automation code.

o Perform API testing using Rest Assured and database validation using JDBC/JPA.

o Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.

o Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals.

o Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

o Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.

o Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation.

o Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.

Strong proficiency in Java programming, including:

o Collections Framework

o Exception Handling

o Streams and Lambda expressions

Hands-on experience with Java-based test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).

Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and dependency management.

Experience with API testing (Rest Assured) and database testing (JDBC/JPA).
