Job description

Make a meaningful impact working with K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. This contract opportunity offers full-time or part-time schedules in a supportive environment focused on helping students succeed. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and CCC-SLPs are welcome to apply, and experience with pediatric and school populations is highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Active MI Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or eligible for clinical fellowship year
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote student success
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide both direct and consultative services as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach
