As a Social Media Manager, you'll define and execute social media strategies that attract, engage, andconnect audiences to authentically enhance Opry Entertainment Group's (OEG) portfolio of brands.   • Lead comprehensive social media and content strategies. Develop strategy through deliberate planning, goal setting, and content management that reflects our authentic voice and legacy.
  • Set clear objectives based on goals and guidelines, competitive research, identified audiences, and known motivations. Leverage the best available promotional and creative tactics, techniques, digital tools and platforms.
  • Develop and implement processes, workflows, and social media playbooks. Define social content calendars, production timelines, and reporting to support goals and objectives for assigned brands and respective social channels.
  • Partner with social media content creators to define strategy, foster teamwork, and encourage innovative thinking. Guide the planning, capture, creation and curation of compelling, original content that enhances brand visibility, engages our audiences, and drives action. Write compelling copy in brand voice, shoot, edit, publish, and share original, high-quality content and short-form video.
  • Collaborate and maintain partnerships. Work with marketing managers, data analysts, artist relations, operating leaders, sponsorships and other team members to identify and understand the target audience, needs, and opportunities to optimize return on investment (ROI) and customer experience. Manage relationships with external vendors, artist teams, and partners who provide content, support, and media services.
  • Drive audience growth and engagement. Grow social following, expand customer databases, improve retention and conversion, and direct revenue generation across all brands and channels.
  • Analyze and report performance. Track, analyze, and report on relevant social data, metrics, insights, and best practices. Act on the information to offer continuous improvement. Establish the ROI impact of social media on overall marketing efforts to share with management and stakeholders.
  • Manage community and events. Interact with fans in real-time, participate in online conversations, answer questions, and create content that will spark discussion on networking sites. Monitor livestream events on various platforms. Optimize brand pages to maximize visibility of social content.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (public relations, guest relations, sales, operations, etc.) to report customer/fan feedback, manage brand reputation and coordinate actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Graphic design or e-commerce certification is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in social media for brands with 1M+ followers
  • 3+ years' experience in the entertainment or music industry
  • Working knowledge of functionality and best practices for all social media platforms
  • Experience with content management systems and social management systems, including
    Sprinklr
  • Experience with social media content creation, video editing, photo editing, Adobe Creative
    Suite, and Capcut
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities and project deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
  • Drive and commitment to exceed goals in a fast-paced work environment

  • Thorough understanding of the social media universe, including YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to speak, hear, and maintain clear vision at close and distant ranges. Requires frequent walking, standing, occasional climbing, sitting, kneeling, bending, stepping up/down, and reaching above shoulder height to capture content onsite at venues and events. Must be able to navigate stairs and uneven terrain, often while carrying products. Frequently lifts and carries items up to 25 pounds. Requires continuous use of hands for basic tasks and frequent, precise hand coordination for detailed work.
Working Conditions
Will work in normal office conditions, often in close contact with others. Live music and event environments include variable weather conditions, large crowds, and elevated noise levels. Some travel required.
