Interns in the Outreach and Community Engagement department handle a wide range of assignments, including writing, webinar tech support, event coordination, content development, data compilation, marketing, and web research - all designed to support engagement around local and national productions in the D.C metropolitan area. Interns occasionally work directly with families and children in settings such as schools, libraries, and childcare centers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Collaborate with the Outreach & Engagement team to support events and educational workshops, providing onsite and virtual assistance with logistics, registration, marketing, and follow-up material distribution.
โ€ข Contribute to the development of content for the monthly newsletter.
โ€ข Conduct web research on assigned tasks.
โ€ข Develop and maintain community databases.
โ€ข Gather and process data collected from events and educational workshops using surveys, informal assessments, and anecdotal notes.
