  • Assists Accounting Manager and the Real Estate team with improving the use of the company's lease administration and accounting software, Tango.
  • Works and negotiates directly with landlords regarding the transparency and accuracy of information provided.
  • Works with internal and independent auditors on compliance associated with leases.
  • Works with and schedules third-party audit firms that assist with quality assurance over the lease reconciliation process.
  • Participates in monthly close and review of activity related to leases and other assigned projects.
  • Assists with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assists in the preparation of material for the Company's independent auditor.
  • Completes ad hoc Accounting Department projects as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel experience required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and convey a professional image.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team with management and associates at all levels.
  • Efficient and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
