Job description

At STAR, we specialize in the custom design and manufacturing of physical experiences. Our clients' needs range from exhibits, retail and corporate environments, and branded events. Wherever a brand lives, STAR is there to make it shine.
STAR is currently seeking a Sewing Machine Operator. Continuous growth has created an opportunity in our Minneapolis office, and we are looking for the right person to join our team! If you have Sewing experience and thrive in a fast paced, detail orientated environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Properly read and interpret work orders for production.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines.
  • Comply with all safety standards for sewing machine operation.
  • Monitors machine operation and report problems.
  • Understand requirements of the Sewing Department and produce quality work on a consistent basis.
  • Understand and follow S.O.P.'s regarding work order routing.
  • All other responsibilities assigned

The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit, a commitment to exceeding expectations, attention to detail, and an exceptional ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment
