Job Description Summary:

Investment Operations Analysts within the Client Data Team are tasked with managing the client data component of the investment data management process for a designated group of external investment manager relationships. This process involves collaboration with various internal teams, data processing, investment manager profile administration, audit and due diligence support, quality control, and data reconciliation. The role is operations-centric and provides support to numerous internal stakeholder groups as well as internal and external CA applications.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee investment data processing for a designated group of external investment managers within both traditional and alternative asset classes. This includes data and document collection, data entry, quality checks, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Act as the primary investment data contact for assigned external investment managers, addressing all data processing needs on behalf of internal groups and external data contacts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, addressing time-sensitive inquiries related to the covered universe, including investigating data discrepancies/gaps and answering questions about investment data processes and policies.
  • Exhibit the ability to provide dedicated quality control support for all tasks performed by team members across the broader team.
  • Audit investment manager data in proprietary databases, including historical data reconciliation and conducting ad hoc reviews.
  • Independently support the firm's financial services/compliance requirements, including (but not limited to) actions in accordance with NDAs, collection of annual regulatory filings, and error resolution.
  • Participate in application and new functionality testing on behalf of the broader department to ensure effective implementation.
  • Develop skills and expertise to identify inefficiencies in the current operations model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (any major) and 1 year of related internship and 1 Year of work experience (finance degrees a plus)
  • The ability to operate in a highly-productive, customer service-oriented environment
  • A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with internal parties at all levels
  • The ability to work both independently and collectively to ensure the overall success of the team
  • Prior experience working in an offshore staff augmentation model a plus
  • An interest in finance and desire to learn more about the operational side of investments industry
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (high proficiency a plus)

Base salary range for this role:

Pay Range Minimum:

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
