Job Summary:
Analogic is a technology company seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Distributed Systems and Platform Integration. The role involves building and maintaining integration layers, developing API interfaces, and contributing to a Rust-based platform while solving complex integration challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain integration layers that connect application software to our distributed platform
• Develop API interfaces (gRPC and/or REST) that allow existing systems to leverage platform capabilities
• Enable legacy and modern systems to communicate effectively without requiring full rewrites
• Define and implement clear, scalable API contracts
• Partner with application teams to understand integration needs and ensure practical, usable solutions
• Design systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability
• Contribute to the underlying platform (Rust-based), including messaging, coordination, and system components
• Help evolve the platform toward more advanced, AI-enabled workflows and capabilities
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot integration issues, system behavior, and performance challenges across environments
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and integration guidance
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience with C++ in production environments
• Experience designing and building APIs (gRPC and/or REST)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (event-driven systems, messaging, concurrency)
• Ability to design across system boundaries and work with multiple technologies
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments
