Job description

Your time spent in the ELP will cover specific core objectives as follows (but not limited to):
  • Technical Skills Training - Safety, Quality, Scheduling, Customer satisfaction
  • Leadership Training - Supervisory skills, Performance Management, Mentorship
  • Business Insights - Accountability, Execution, Risk Taking, Budgeting
  • Culture Integration - including Communication, Collaboration and Innovation

What you'll be doing:
  • Involvement in mechanical/electrical projects and installations, working closely with plant millwrights, electricians, and mechanics.
  • Participate in manufacturing process improvements and troubleshooting production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Involvement in computer integrated manufacturing and information systems projects including automation, robotics, and process/inventory control.
  • Assist in identification of component specifications; identify vendors, and parts/systems procurement.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Solidworks to draft machine parts, assemblies, and layouts and update existing engineering drawings.
  • Responsible for writing procedures, assembling charts, diagrams, and directions for technical tasks
  • Support the maintenance department planning functions utilizing data analysis and CMMS
  • Assist in design and programming of manufacturing control systems. Utilize mechanical engineering skills for general plant and manufacturing support.
  • Assist in research and planning for capital projects. Serve as assistant project manager during capital projects.
  • Assist Engineering Manager and other department employees with other duties as required

This is an onsite position located in our Morristown, TN Facility

  • Have or will obtain a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Technology or Business by May 2026 or December 2026
  • Previous internship experience (preferably in Manufacturing or functional area)
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Desire to work in a Manufacturing environment
  • Technical aptitude
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for Non-Technical Degrees is between $61,500 and $65,000.
The annual base salary range for Technical Degrees is between $72,000 and $77,500.
