FALL 2026 PAID MASTER’S LEVEL INTERNSHIP  

**This is a great opportunity to learn & grow in the mental health field!** 

Pay: $15.00/billable hour  

Location: On-site  

About the Role: 

Our Community Services Department is excited to offer clinical internships for Master's level students in a mental health related field. We are looking for interns to start in Fall 2026 and intern with us for at least 9 months. Internship roles include In-Home Therapy for family, group therapy and outpatient therapy. Services are provided in the clinic, home, school, other community-based settings or telehealth. 

Under the supervision of an independently licensed Director, interns will gain experience on providing family therapy, leading groups and/or providing outpatient treatment. Interns will gain knowledge around insurance authorization of services, clinical documentation, diagnosing, treatment planning, evidence-based interventions, safety/risk management, care coordination, case management, knowledge of medications, state agencies and HIPAA standards of care. 

This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse clinical population and gain experience utilizing different clinical modalities. Be a part of an experienced, energetic and supportive team! Schedule is flexible depending on you and your client’s availability.

  • Enrolled in a second year Master’s level program in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field (licensure not required but encouraged) 
  • Ability to complete a nine month long (or longer) internship 
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to vehicle registered and insured in your name 
  • Access to personal computer and cell phone, reimbursed each month 
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems and an understanding of the internet 
  • Strong time management skills and organization skills 
  • Bilingual encouraged 
  • Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation 
  • Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
