Title: Sr. Oracle BPM Tech/Dev Lead


Overview of business area:

Risk and Finance IT Workflow team is responsible for delivering workflow solutions across all Risk and Finance business serving all business locations.

This role is for lead developer to join the team and further build the strategic workflow platform for broad adoption by several new business areas within Risk and Finance IT.

The platform uses latest technology stack enabling automation of complex business process.

Qualifications

Overview of the team:

Workflow team is a global team spread across New York, Raleigh, London, Wroclaw and India, falling under the broader reporting horizontal department (400 member organization) serving Risk and Finance business areas.

Team is a much diversified team with members coming from different background with rich talent.

Current workflow team size is 30 members


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

ย ย ย ย ย ย 8+ years of experience with strong technical skills in development using Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g and 12c in BPM, SOA, ADF.

ย ย ย ย ย ย BPM/SOA: Extensive Knowledge on Oracle SOA suite 11g and 12c including BPMN, BPEL, Human Workflow, Business rules, BAM, Mediator, Oracle Adapters, JDeveloper, WebLogic Application server, and Oracle Database.

ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong understanding of BPM lifecycle, Integration Architecture, patterns, and best practices.

ย ย ย ย ย ย 5+ years of experience as a successful Solutions Architect, working with teams of five or more development professionals, on projects of 18 or more months of duration

ย ย ย ย ย ย Leadership level of performance in delivering projects

ย ย ย ย ย ย Understanding of ALM processes in an Agile environment


Nice to have skills:

ย ย ย ย ย ย WebLogic server infrastructure administration and configuration, Java and system components such as Security (LDAP, SSO, PKI), Performance Monitoring and Tuning, WLST is a plus

ย ย ย ย ย ย Content Management experience is a plus

ย ย ย ย ย ย Process Cloud Service experience is a plus


Responsibilities:

End-to-end implementation of the BoW (BookOfWork) in order to deliver a solution that suits the business and stakeholder needs and is aligned with the overall Risk & Finance IT (RF IT) architecture strategy. This includes:

ย ย ย ย ย ย Being technical representative and single point of contact forย Oracle BPM Workflow team's projects

ย ย ย ย ย ย Engage with business analysts, functional architects and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility of the solution and provide design options

ย ย ย ย ย ย Proactively engage with Workflow infrastructure teams to provide stable and complete infrastructure to various Workflow initiatives being undertaken

ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with RF IT architecture strategy and overall Credit Suisse IT architecture strategy (including bank's standard platforms, applications, and run-time environments)

ย ย ย ย ย ย Providing the required documentation

ย ย ย ย ย ย Proactively escalate risks and issues to IT PM, Dev managers and other relevant parties

ย ย ย ย ย ย Review on a regular basis the design and development work performed by the developers in the team and ensure the project is delivering the intended architecture, including leading code reviews and review workshops

ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure peer reviews are in place.

ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensuring that the delivery maintains or improve the level of quality, efficiency, stability and practicability

ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensuring that any project modifying the application will follow best practices, is aligned with RF IT architecture strategy and standards and overall CS IT architecture strategy (including bank's standard platforms, applications, and run-time environments)

ย ย ย ย ย ย Controlling the design and implementation of change requests

ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure application owner/Development manager sign off is obtained before release.

ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate/work with QA team to ensure smooth QA progress.
