Position Summary

The Senior Technical Product Manager is responsible for product ownership and technical program management across multiple software, AI, and data platform initiatives. This role owns day-to-day product operations, backlog management, milestone tracking, vendor and contractor coordination, user acceptance testing, data initiative oversight, agreement management, and executive reporting.


The ideal candidate brings experience managing technical products and programs in environments involving data platforms, cloud technologies, AI/ML initiatives, research programs, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.


A significant aspect of the role involves managing relationships with external stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the organization in partner-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product backlogs, milestones, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate Agile development efforts, UAT, and release planning.
  • Track technical initiatives involving data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
  • Manage vendor, contractor, and agreement lifecycles, including SOWs and compliance tracking.
  • Prepare executive presentations, status reports, and program documentation.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for external partners, stakeholders, and working groups.
  • Identify risks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or similar experience.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, research, and data-driven environments.
  • Experience managing software, AI/ML, data platform, or cloud-based initiatives.
  • Strong background in Agile delivery, backlog management, and milestone tracking.
  • Experience working with external partners, vendors, or clients.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSPO, or similar certification.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Airflow, or related technologies.
