Guidewire Software Manager

Location: Omaha, NE (Potential Remote)

Employee Status: Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guidewire Software Manager to lead our talented team responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Guidewire Insurance-Suite platform. This critical role will oversee all technical aspects of our Guidewire environment, ensuring its stability, security, and alignment with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of Guidewire developers, analysts, and administrators.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Guidewire projects, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

  • Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform.

  • Manage and coordinate integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systems.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices for the Guidewire environment.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions within Guidewire.

  • Manage vendor relationships related to the Guidewire platform.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay current with the latest Guidewire technologies and industry trends.

  • Manage budgets and resources effectively for the Guidewire team and projects.

Work Requirements, Experience, Education, and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing and leading Guidewire implementations and support teams.

  • Deep technical understanding of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

  • Strong experience with Guidewire configuration and integration tools (e.g., GOSU, Studio, Integration Framework).

  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Experience working in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
