Job description

About MyndBridge
MyndBridge is a workforce development organization that partners with schools, employers, and agencies to prepare people for careers. We're evolving our brand and growing our reach - which means there's real, visible work to make, and your designs won't sit in a folder. They'll be published.
The opportunity
We're looking for creative, motivated design interns to help build MyndBridge's presence across social media. You'll create the graphics, short-form video, and campaign content that tell our story to students, families, schools, and employers - and you'll leave with a portfolio of real, published work and mentorship from our marketing team. This is a chance to own visible projects at a mission-driven organization, not fetch coffee.
What you'll do
• Design social media content - graphics, carousels, stories, and short-form video - for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Turn program highlights, student milestones, and events into scroll-stopping posts that reflect our brand.
• Build reusable templates and a consistent visual style across platforms.
• Support the content calendar - helping plan, produce, and schedule posts alongside the marketing team.
• Contribute to light UX and web design projects (landing pages, simple graphics for the website) as we relaunch our brand.
• Bring ideas - we want your eye on trends, formats, and what makes people stop scrolling.
What you'll gain
• A portfolio of published, real-world design work.
• Mentorship from experienced marketing and design professionals.
• Experience with a full content workflow - concept, design, publish, and measure.
• A reference and a genuine credit line for work that reached a real audience.
Who you are
Required
• Education: currently enrolled in - or a recent graduate of - an associate's or bachelor's program in graphic design, UX/UI design, digital media, marketing, communications, or a related field. Exceptional self-taught designers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign).
• A strong sense of layout, type, and color, and an eye for clean, modern design.
• Familiarity with major social platforms and current content formats.
• Reliable, organized, and able to take creative direction and feedback.
• A portfolio or work samples - required with your application (a link is fine).
Nice to have
• Figma or other UX/UI design experience.
• Short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) and motion graphics.
• Photography, or experience shooting content on a phone.
• Interest in workforce development, education, or nonprofit work.
Academic credit
This internship can be structured to satisfy an academic-credit or practicum requirement. If your program offers internship credit, tell us in your application and we will work with your school's requirements and paperwork.
A note on our community
MyndBridge serves youth and young adults. Interns who work with content featuring participants follow our media-consent and safeguarding policies, and a background check may be required depending on the role.
The pay range for this role is:
18 - 21 USD per hour (Remote)
