Summary
HII Mission Technologies seeks an innovative remote AI-Enabled Solutions Developer to join our enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO). This role leverages modern AI-assisted development tools to rapidly build and deploy full stack web applications, mobile applications, and integrated business solutions that support defense contract management operations.
As an AI-Enabled Solutions Developer, you will work alongside program managers and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into functional applications. The primary focus will be developing and enhancing our Program Management Portal, with additional opportunities to build mobile applications and automation tools that improve efficiency across our defense services portfolio.
This position requires a blend of technical fluency, systems thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with AI coding assistants to accelerate development timelines.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain the Program Management Portal using modern web frameworks and database technologies
  • Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution delivery
  • Translate business requirements into application architecture and functional specifications
  • Design and implement database schemas, APIs, and integration points with existing business systems
  • Conduct rapid prototyping to validate concepts with stakeholders
  • Debug, test, and refine AI-generated code for quality and performance
  • Create technical documentation for developed solutions
  • Collaborate with program managers to identify automation opportunities and efficiency improvements
  • Support integrations with enterprise tools including Smartsheet, financial systems, and reporting platforms
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and evolving requirements
  • Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software
  • Participate in planning for system deployment and ensure software compliance standards are met
  • Document testing and maintenance of system corrections

What We Are Looking For
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or technical solution delivery
  • Proficiency with modern web development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience with mobile application development (React Native, Flutter, or native)
  • Working knowledge of database design and SQL
  • Familiarity with API development (REST, GraphQL)
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands on experience using AI-enabled coding tools to develop external applications supporting program functions such as finance, deliverables, procurement, staffing, and risk tracking
  • Experience working within AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments (CMMC Level 1/2)
  • Practical software development experience with an emphasis on building and deploying scalable solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and pipelines
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a portal team of 4-5 members for front end/back end support, onboarding, training, and CI/CD efforts
  • Strong communication skills for remote collaboration, updates, and cross-team awareness
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
