This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Python Engineer based in Netherlands.

This fully remote opportunity is designed for an experienced Python engineer passionate about building scalable data platforms and solving complex backend challenges. In this role, you will contribute to the development and improvement of high-volume data ingestion systems that power critical business insights. You will work with large-scale data pipelines, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices while collaborating with a highly skilled international technology team. The position offers the opportunity to take ownership of impactful technical projects, improve platform reliability, and influence architectural decisions. You will play a key role in transforming complex data sources into reliable, actionable intelligence for global users.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain robust Python-based solutions for large-scale data ingestion and backend systems.
  • Build, improve, and maintain data collection processes, including web scrapers and automated data pipelines.
  • Enhance platform performance, reliability, observability, and overall data quality.
  • Conduct technical research and investigations to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Take ownership of architectural and conceptual components, including reliability, quality assurance processes, and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams through code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements
