Job description

Do not apply if you do not have US Citizenship.

PMAT Internships can be found across the US with On Site, Hybrid and Remote opportunities.

At PMAT, we work on mission critical systems that directly support the warfighter, designing, building, and securing modern digital capabilities across cloud, data, and software environments. Our teams tackle complex, real-world challenges where delivery matters more than theory, and innovation is driven by curiosity, collaboration, and purpose.

Our Internship program provides paid opportunities for students enrolled in colleges, universities, and other qualifying educational institutions to gain valuable, hands-on experience while supporting meaningful work across engineering, technology, business, and corporate operations. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop practical skills while exploring careers supporting the Department of Defense.

About the Role: As a PMAT Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our customers, employees, and the Department of Defense. Internship opportunities are available across a variety of disciplines based on your education, interests, skills, and business needs.

Depending on your assignment, you may contribute to initiatives in:

  • Software Development
  • Cloud Engineering
  • Cybersecurity

At PMAT, interns aren't just observers—they're valued members of the team whose ideas and contributions matter.

You'll intern alongside professionals who are passionate about solving complex problems and delivering capabilities that make a difference. Whether you're developing software, creating graphics for proposals, supporting capture efforts, analyzing data, designing marketing materials, or helping build the next generation of defense technology, your work will contribute to meaningful outcomes.

If you're passionate about learning, enjoy solving challenging problems, and want to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you. Outstanding interns may also be considered for future internship or full-time opportunities with PMAT.

We focus on designing and building impactful digital solutions that utilize modern cloud, data, and software concepts. We believe in being curious about every element of a problem and experimenting relentlessly. We foster continuous learning in an environment that encourages collaboration and expands our capabilities. We tap into collective intelligence, acknowledging that the best ideas can come from anywhere. Above all else, we believe that delivering meaningful capabilities is more impactful than simply documenting them. We are passionate about mission-centric design and delivering effective solutions to and for the warfighter.

  • Pursuing an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, or a relevant technical certification program
