Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake evaluations and comprehensive mental health assessments for new clients to accurately diagnose and understand their issues.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with the individual goals of your clients.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused techniques, to support client progress.
  • Build strong therapeutic alliances with clients through active listening, empathy, and trust-building interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines, legal standards, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning within the clinic. Opportunities for supervising interns or mentoring less experienced counselors are also available.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult clients who present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise in developing treatment strategies will help clients navigate life transitions, manage stress, and cope with grief. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient or similar clinical setting is preferred.
