• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations to determine the mental health status of patients using clinically approved tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Create individualized treatment plans that take into account cultural diversity and specialized needs of the patient population served, adjusting strategies based on ongoing evaluations.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions and strategies to support the mental health diagnosis and to facilitate progress towards treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and department protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Coordinate referrals to additional resources and treatment providers, serving as a critical link to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education and mentoring for students and interns, sharing knowledge to cultivate the next generation of healthcare providers.
• Participate in peer reviews, chart audits, and clinical collaborations to foster team member development and ensure high standards of mental health care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families dealing with the emotional and psychological impacts of cancer. You'll work closely with patients at different stages of their journey, helping them navigate the complexities of their diagnosis while fostering a supportive and understanding therapeutic environment. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing their overall well-being and providing resources that facilitate healing.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Colorado.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health treatment, particularly pertaining to the oncology population is preferred.

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement in outpatient therapy focused on cancer-behavioral health integration.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is beneficial for maintaining effective documentation.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
